It Was Just a Plastic Bag Full Lyrics
[00:00.10] With paper bag
[00:01.42] I was in my father's car, we're driving to the grocery store
[00:06.83] And, this is an idea -like, how long it takes me to even- deal with writing a song
[00:12.58] It's a- this was during the recording of the first album
[00:17.16] And I was miserable, haha
[00:19.65] And it was like a Saturday, and my dad and I were driving to the grocery store
[00:24.01] And I was just chilling, sitting, sulking in
[00:27.80] And I looked up into the sky, and I saw this in- this white dove
[00:33.53] And I thought, you know- I have, like- I have incredible- I used to have terrible problem with, um
[00:39.89] Everything wasn't simple to me, I have obsessive-compulsive disorder and it was way in full swing then
[00:46.25] So like- everything that I saw meant, you know, life or death
[00:52.32] So I look up into the sky, and I'm sulking and I see this white dove
[00:56.52] And I thought, "Oh I, okay, everything's okay"
[00:59.62] I mean, I swung way up to this high
[01:01.80] And I was like, "Oh that's great, everything's all over white dove"
[01:04.97] And it really start falling, and it was- it was just a plastic bag. It was a plastic bag
[01:09.75] And it so creepy, and I was just dropped again. But then it was stuck in the head, and then, later on
[01:16.35] You know, that was, kind of like- "Oh, there it is, the rule of my life", you know
[01:20.82] That it- it always looks like it's gonna be something great, but then it just a damn plastic bag
[01:26.56] But you know, and I made paper bag- because paper bag sounds better, um
[01:31.40] And I didn't- and I just thought of that, and that image always stayed in my head
[01:35.28] And it didn't make any sense in my life, until, years later
[01:40.27] And then, you know, I grabbed it from the back of my head and made a song out of it
[01:44.58] But lots of time that kind of stuffs happen weren't right, you know
[01:47.35] I'll notice something, and then I'll ignore it, and then
[01:50.18] It'll come back at some point
[01:51.92]
