[00:20.85] Dayton, Texas rodeo, Possum Potez stole the show [00:25.60] Way back in 1968, the night he rode ol' Pearly Gates [00:31.06] It was a spinning bucking ton of death, and everybody held their breath [00:36.40] But Possum rode him to a draw, it was the best bull-ride that I ever saw [00:41.99] Possum, Possum, where are you? [00:44.16] No one rides bulls like you used to [00:46.88] They haul you off in the ambulance [00:49.58] And you show up later at the victory dance [00:53.52] Possum, Possum, get back home [00:55.72] We ain't had no fun since you've been gone [00:58.57] With your two pack-habit and a six-pack buzz [01:01.56] You're the best that there ever was [01:05.35] You're the best that there ever was [01:12.16] Ah, two lone black top highway flyin' that's ol' Possum, I ain't lyin' [01:17.71] An eight track tape deck Blasting Jones, Ernest Tubb, then The Rolling Stones [01:22.86] In the beer joints and down by the bucking shoots [01:25.58] The cowgirls swore that he was so cute [01:27.96] They just love the way that he cocked his hat [01:30.66] Now Possum had it all down pat [01:33.53] Possum, Possum, where are you? [01:35.74] No one rides bulls like you used to [01:38.80] They haul you off in the ambulance [01:41.28] And you show up later at the victory dance [01:45.34] Possum, Possum, get back home [01:47.60] We ain't had no fun since you've been gone [01:50.23] With your two pack-habit and a six-pack buzz [01:53.29] You're the best that there ever was [01:57.31] You're the best that there ever was [02:01.86] [02:23.06] Ah, the rainbow café all jokes aside the day ol' Possum like to die [02:28.35] Some sweet thing flashed him a blue-eyed grin, it made ol' Possum's style kick in [02:33.76] A jealous cowboy, all drunk and wired, pulled a pistol and a bullet fired [02:39.02] Blood was shed out in the parking lot [02:41.46] But it was not how Possum wound up shot [02:44.33] Possum, Possum, where are you?
